The latest project, bearing in mind that the devil makes work for idle hands, is this chicken coop!
Katrina and I attended a poultry information workshop in mid September (well what do you do with your early autumn saturdays?) and, leaving the boys with the children (carefully worded, that) set out to build our own coops. Here is mine in progress....

It was delivered home for my trusty helpers to paint.

...and passed the final inspection from Ned. We plan to get the chickens at half term. Apparently they will be called Kiev, Nugget and Goujon. Ho Ho Ho. Should chickens have names?
