On Sunday, we went to the beach at Saltburn. Lovely sand and shallow waters. Arabella had lots of fun with her kite, her Daddy and her bucket and spade. Saltburn (for those of you whose geography north of Cambridge is as seriously embarrasing as mine) is on the north east coast, 10 miles from Middlesborough and some way up from Whitby. If you go inland from there, you would be on the North York Moors.
