This is one of the cottages, Upper Albergas, up at Newcastle Camp. So sadly falling apart but amazing to imagine its former glory. It has the most incredible view. Ant and I are wondering how we can get our greedy little paws on it. That will give that Sarah Beeny something to think about. 50 years ago, this would have been a popular rental retreat for Kingston families; a little like going to Scotland, but a shorter journey and not so repulsively cold.
